Assuming the Columbus trade is to anyone- but we don’t want Donskoi... we don’t need another middle 6 wing.

If this was about CLB, I would have made a BJs roster

That's a lot of money to Zadorov to play 10 mins a game.

They won't run very fast bc Jost is pretty slow.

He played with a broken forearm. Just got out of surgery

It was a posted trade with Columbus and we have no want or need for a middle 6 wing. Just saying send him else where.

No, I'm pretty sure CLB accepts just to spite you. Lol

I don't like any of these moves tbh. This just looks like a goon version of last year's team with a weaker G tandem

Sakic already said they are rolling Grubauer and Frankie next season so the PIT trade is a no. Why trade Calvert and Donskoi to get Maroon and Martin, that’s a down grade.

Nashville: Yep we'll take that. I've seen enough Watson on my team. Jost is still young and has some untapped potential.

what?

he'd still be playing behind Johnson and Makar who averaged 21 minutes last season each, i'd expect that to go up for Makar at least (24 mins)

Zadorov played 17 mins, i'd see him drop to 13-14, and at $4M thats a lot.

He already makes 3.something and he'll be an RFA with arbitration rights. 4M is fair for his situation. It's not breaking the bank. Each of the last two years he had to play more minutes at critical times of the season bc other guys couldn't go.

It's not a downgrade if you can't even get on the ice.

Last offseason Sakic said he was done, then swung a blockbuster for Kadri, so...

I agree, but you can also trade him, and sign a depth option in the $2M range too.

True but let’s not ignore the fact Murray has his own health issues.

Ok that's fair.

Between: sticking w Grubie, getting Murray, or doing something else, what is your preference?

Murray is a distant 3rd. Something else depends on who, if you’re talking Gibson or Lehner yeah that’s top choice but chasing somebody like Fredrick Andersson or Kuemper I’d put them behind even Murray. So realistic situations, with Lehner supposedly having agreed to an extension in Vegas and Gibson not likely to be traded, roll with Grub.
