As long as its less than Alzners contract i guess its fine

Created by: BigBadBurke
Team: 2020-21 Montreal Canadiens
Initial Creation Date: Sep. 12, 2020
Published: Sep. 12, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
TRADE BREAKDOWN;

Carolina trade is mainly cap constraints, MTL is helping them by allowing the Canes to shed some salary. (funny thing as last year Bergevin was trying to get them to ADD salary not the other way around...)

Domi + 4th for Pulju + 3rd
Byron + Kulak for Athanasiou + Chiasson

NOTES;

Romanov/Mete/Edmundson all interchangeable.
I feel that Nino would be a good fit on a tough checking shutdown line alongside Danault & Gally. Tatar wld then be able to use his skillset to better complement the two young finns on a potentially very dangerous 3rd line.
Athanasiou naturally plugs into the 4th line to add speed and size, and one day could slide up to replace Niederreiter's spot when his contract is up/Seattle exp draft.

idk just my opinion

If I am Oilers GM, zero chance I want another crappy contract. (Byron) We got to many already. Fair trade is Byron for Kassian

Crappy 3m$ contract for only 3 more years and to add some speed on the wing in Edmonton? Don't see how that isn't something Holland wldn't ATLEAST consider. Seems oddly similar to the Neal acquisition to me.

we had Kassian, then he almost killed that girl in the car crash.... and we dumped him.... so, we'll keep Byron.

but yeah, these trades are bad for Montreal... they get unproven or mediocre return for who they ship off.

AA and Kassian both can fly, see how that speed on the wings works for the oilers. The only Byron adds right now is another 3 million and a bunch of injuries.

Fleury is a bottom pairing 10 point defenseman, you can get that in FA
Nino is a 20-30 point guy, Lehkonen is that now, and cheaper.
and the prospect isn't worth the possibility of Juulsen ever playing again, who's ceiling is probably higher than anyone in this trade.

Edmonton, AA is a straight line skating sack of trash, Chiasson is overrated, and not worth the contract, and montreal would give up Domi who alone is a 50-55 point guy who can play Center or Wing.
Byron, who on a healthy season is a 20 goal scorer

give a 2nd and a 3rd for Pool-party and be done with it.

I find it easier to just laugh at the proposals and move on. Lately I haven't even responded to rediculous proposals.

You might want to check your browser history to understand that you have crossed the line of the rulesbooks ... many people are learning and you are a terrible communicator ... we don't need that toxic kiddo yapping. Stop that!

Yes homers are anoying, yet you're one, with blinders. CAR easily loses this trade and EDM trade is a toss up. Depends on finding a gm that wants to over pay Domi, which i certainly would not do and by the looks of it, all MTL fans agm posts. So ya, you're overreacting.

Don't tell this guy that CAR easily loses the trade... in his mind Fleury is a 10pt dman and Nino a 30pt forward lmao

the funny thing is laughing at ppl who laugh at online trades... especially when the trades seem to split ppl's opinions pretty evenly down the middle lol

laughing or valuing people is also ridiculous when we are outsider to the system, but i guess that this site is not a game anymore!

Not really sure what this means but yes, it is hard to be an outsider to the system I agree with that!
