You could offer Dallas Dekeyser, Larkin and Mrazek for Seguin and they would still probably say no

Yeah there really isn't anything in that package you offered Dallas that justifies trading Seguin

Dallas has plenty of offense. Is Tatar below Seguin? Sure. But he's still a top 6 forward. Solidifying the blue line with DeKeyser and Marchenko would give Dallas more 3-2 wins rather than 5-4 wins. Additionally, they'd get better in goal because of the better play in front of their own net. Tatar could put up 25-30 goals playing with Benn, Spezza, Sharp, Hudler, Eakin, or Hemsky. DeKeyser and Klingberg would make a nice top pair while Marchenko and Oduya would be a good 2nd allowing Hamhuis to mento a guy like Oleksiak or Johns. Bringing in Howard at $3.3M isn't bad, he'll push Niemi. They have the same career SV% with Howard having a slight edge on GAA and QS%.

1 top 6 Forward, 1 top 4 defenseman, 1 middle 4 defenseman, and a serviceable goalie (Plus a #1 and #2 isn't bad) for 1 top 3 forward and an overpaid, under performing goalie. I don't think it's an underwhelming offer from the Wings.

Is Dallas likely to do it? Probably not. More so, Holland isn't likely to make an offer. We all know he's not a wheeler-and-dealer.

Dekeyser is not that great of a player.

Nobody said he was great. Doesn't mean he isn't better than everyone not named Klingberg on Dallas.
