Idk if that's enough for Ehlers based solely on the fact that he's signed to such a cap friendly contract while Domi needs to be resigned. Plus I don't think Ehlers is the right target for MTL right now.

I think Ehlers as more value than Domi +2nd (Kulak + 4th doesn't bring anything on the table)
Chevy would say yes to a trade only if he gets a first IN.

Adding the 20201st makes you delusional. Moreover , Kulak has value. Good contract, serviceable 4-5th defenseman.

Sure Ehlers has a good contract but seems like everyone on here thinks Domi’s next contract is going to be way more. His contract will be similar to Ehlers so therefore you’re getting a 2C for the same cost or close to it.

Columbus declines. Weal would be our 11th bottom-6 forward. We don't have a role for him, and he's not a significant upgrade over our other options, particularly cheaper options like Emil Bemstrom, Kevin Stenlund and Eric Robinson.
