Rakell plays a solid 2way game while Domi does not and Rakell is locked up for 2 more years on a cap friendly contract while Domi is a RFA.

If anyone wants MY unsolicited opinion, I think that my colleague meant to say "6th overall", not "66th", because we own the 67th pick and the first-round exchange makes a lot more sense

I honestly don't think you'd need to go with the 27th, maybe a 2nd rounder instead of a 3rd but that would do it.

I really like Rakell and if he becomes available.. alot of team would pay alot for 2 years @ 3,8M/y...so yes because of the contract MTL need to overpay... but not moving 16OA to 66...
I see something more like: Domi, Mete, 16 OA for Ana(Bos) 27th, 37th + Rakell
