Stop with the stupid trades

Created by: CallingOutHomers

Description
No more stupid Danault/Domi/Mete trades bringing in all these players, Nate Thompson or any replaceable veteran 4th line locker room guy should come to develop the young guys.

That's it, keep your room for 2021-22 to see how Seattle affects your team, and who needs re-signing.

The direction and development of the team is fine, don't try to F it up because you want to trade 5-6 roster players, it doesn't happen in the real world.

That’s what I’ve been saying. Granted this is a fantasy site where people like to make hypothetical trades for fun.

I couldnt agree more, but this is a lost cause.

Most people copy what they have seen here or rumors in the medias, without a hint of thinking.

So much trading away scraps for the player they want, never asking themselves if the other team even want to part ways with their players.

And when you underline how bad their trades are, they answer:" Relax Man! This is a fantasy site! I can trade Crosby for a 7h if I want!"

Dumb trades are easy. Good ones are hard.

I just look at how some people play around here and it's a 1 year window after the moves they make, seeing Pietr and Hall signing on the same team, when the hell has it ever happened where the top UFA's sign monster deals with the same team.

then the team completely falls apart in 2-3 years because they are cap strapped.

2012. Ryan Suter and Zach Parise both signed 13-year deals with the Minnesota Wild.

I get your point, though. Those deals doomed the Wild to chronic mediocrity forever.

exactly, and they finagled the deal to have a lower cap hit with the term, and they are screwed, imagine if either retire early? oh hot damn, they'll have to trade away players for nothing to be cap compliant.

With recent news you could have Edmundson sign which will bring Romanov at Laval. I am done with Hudon on the lineup. Juulsen has to have another chance at the NHL level and Fleury is waivable in the AHL. I do agree with all the folks here that I am also tire of these all in trades. With Allen at the backup goalie spot, Mtl should make the playoffs.

You say that, and I partially agree...
But Domi is not signing at that price and term, and I don't want to see him at the wing again. To me it seems obvious there's only 3C spots for Suzuki-KK-Danault-Domi
