I randomly picked these teams, just wanted to see if this would be enough to get anyone to take these deals. For someone to play on the right side defense I picked Barrie but I think there’s a lot of possible options up to around 5mil.

Well, the second year is only $800,000, which is a drop in the bucket compared to the $6 million coming off the books for Edler and the $2 million coming off the books for Benn, plus the $3.75 million coming off the books from Pearson and the $1 million plus hangover. Assuming that you replace those three tickets with ELCs, you have about $10 million to spend above their current levels, which lets you sign Pettersson for $7 million and Hughes for $5 million. And that's without taking into account moving Beagle or letting Barrie walk.
