He has a NMC.. he took less money on this deal because he knows he doesnt have to pay taxes in Florida. He is on a great competitive team, he is captain and is in a no-tax state. Why would he waive it? Stamkos would not waive it.. I dont get people trading him.

I'd like to see Johnson, Palat and McDonagh traded for prospects or picks so they have space to resign Sergachev, Cirelli and Cernak, those guys are worth keeping

I remember when Johnson, Palat and Killorn were lined up together, damn that was a crazy good line, if they were on the Oilers team, I'd hate to trade either of them too
