Description

I don’t think colorado matches this and if they do, the jets got them to overpay for him. If they don’t, the jets underpaid for him (in trade value), so win win for the jets. It’s not like they need any relations with Colorado anyway since I can’t even remeber the last trade they made together

Jets get one of lundell, Rossi, or perfetti as someone from the projected top 10 falls almost every year. The jets bring back stastny for a small price and get zadorov, both as stopgap options. Next, they go for severson to fill out the defence.

The Stanley for McLeod part of the deal is there for one reason, a New Jersey fan suggested it and I liked it. Idk if they would take this though.

Could replace spacek with a rd prospect like green or kovacevic too if need be.

I’m hoping the jets get Grans in the 2nd round but more realistically, they pick up hirvonen, foudy, or villeneuve.

The jets are a little lacking in 2021 picks but it’s worth it imo.

I made a year 2 which is right after this. For that purpose, let’s suppose the jets draft lundell and grans

Like it a lot. I feel like NJ won’t be looking to move Severson, so I’d just sign DeMelo and do Stanley for Mcleod or forget the trade entirely. If we can’t move Perreault maybe we trade Rosy for futures? That way we don’t lose anyone to expansion.

Speaking of which, maybe you only commit to 3 top4 dmen this year anyway because you know you’ll have to go 7-3-1 and not 8-1 because of the F depth we have

Tbh, I’d rather commit to 4 and deal with the expansion when it comes.

I think this is a good setup for the expansion. We don’t have to worry about much here. Sure move zadorov before the draft but that’s about it. Honestly, losing a guy like appleton, harkins, or McLeod hurts, but not that much
