Description

The Coyotes get a top 6 winger who’s only getting better and a former 7th overall pick who could prove to live up to his draft status as soon as the 2021-22 season. The Rangers get a really good 2nd line center on a team friendly deal and is good in all 3 zones, another really good prospect LD who projects as a top 4 D, and a 2nd round pick. We also agree to take on the final year of Marian Hossa’s contract.

Arizona can't afford to send that pick.

And Dvorak and Dineen is fair value for Buchnevich and Andersson, who may be a complete bust.

You call Dvorak a second line on a great contract....so no way Arizona does that deal. Hossa contract...meaningless in a trade. That's probably an overpay by the Rangers in the Ottawa trade, and Smith could block it with his M NTC
