Description
MIN TRADE : Idk man I feel like Domi could play a better part in a MIN rebuild than Brodin, they don't really have good young prospects. Brodin fits nicely in the MTL D system.

DET TRADE : I get that DET doesn't want to part from Mantha, but he's not getting younger and this team's going nowhere (plus he needs a new contract). I feel like good young prospects and high picks could do the trick. I don't think MTL would be willing to pay more than that either.

ALZNER DUMP : Anywhere really, might be too expensive for a 2 years dump, but Alzner could also use some fresh air. I think a rebuilder would gladly take some picks for that.

"they don't really have good young prospects"

Ever heard of Kaprizov? Boldy? Addison? Khovanov? Beckman?

I don't like Domi for us at all, he turns the puck over way too much to be an effective long-term solution at center. I'd way rather have Brodin.

If you know we don’t want to move Mantha, and you’re not willing to drastically overpay to force Yzerman to say yes, why are we accepting it?

2022 1st rounder is of little interest. Look at where the Habs should be by then. KK, Romanov, and Suzuki will really take off. Playoffs should be a good bet, probably pick in the +-20th overall range? At best if the rookie pans out and assuming all goes well, he’ll see action by 2025? Maybe 2026? Yikes.

Detroit wants 2020 first and replace brook with primeau. Also 2020 2nd not 2023. Also gonna have to add in another player like fleury or kk.

Otherwise no mantha for you as usual

You forgot JEE, Greenway, Kunin, Donato; all of them in the NHL already; and Belpedio, Menell, Jones, and Robson in the AHL/minors last year. 1st this year, 2 x 1st next year.

Bjugstad (in theory) just filled the 3C slot, and LWs are overfull. Domi fits nowhere in the lineup.

I don't consider any of JEE, Greenway, Kunin, or Donato prospects. They all have a few seasons under their belt. They're definitely still developing, of course, I just don't think they're prospects.

I just listed the more known players since most non-Wild fans have no idea about Mennell or Belpedio. But I did forget to add Kahkonen and Jones.
