I don’t because Nylander been a bust so far in his career.

Well what do we have to lose, if he revives than we get a stud for free. If not we lost nothing

Anthony Duclair was a huge bust and went off in Ottawa

That trade was for draft picks (two 2nd round from Columbus) Duclair was throw in because Columbus didn’t want him.
We didn’t need to take on any bad contracts back. Taking Duclair involved no risk and he didn’t cost anything to acquired. There is a risk and cost here to acquire Nylander in that the others players have 11 million left on their contracts. Having two aging people on bad contract is a cost and risk.

Well, since you don’t pay the salary of Smith or Määttä then I guess you would lost nothing.
