There's zero chance that St. Louis is giving away Dunn. They can move Steen and Bozak for less.

Who is St. Louis going to protect in the expansion draft as far as defensemen go? Faulk, Parayko, Scandella, AP, Dunn?
And they need money to sign both AP as well as Dunn....

Doesnt Faulk have a NTC so he must be protected? not sure about the Modified NTCs for Scandella.

NTC do not have to be protected, NMCs do. But the trade proposed totally disregards Steen and Bozak's NTC. They aren't waiving for Detroit in their last NHL season.

They also aren’t giving a first to save 2M on Steen. Don’t know why everyone keeps trading for Steen and a 1st when it only saves us 2M versus buying him out. Ain’t gonna happen

The Blues have no use for Helm at $1.9m.

Moving Steen and Bozak is utterly pointless. We can't invest that amount of free cap space this summer, as we're going to need money coming off the books at the end of next season to deal with the rises players are going to get.

We're not moving our first, never mind addng out best goalie prospect, to move a contract.
