Heres my take on Nashville - they either go 4-4 or 7-3. Imo they trade Ekholm and protect 3D. So Ekholm for Domi could be something they do. Then Sanderson might possibly drop to them

With is advantage contract I feel they would ask for alot in exchange... and team over the Cap would make a crazy deal for him... like TambaBay could offer Palat or Killorn or maybe even Stamkos!!! to shred salary

They are too busy on the phone with the phone company blocking their number!

I don't think Seattle wastes a pick on Turris, if anything they go Jarnkrok/grimaldi/watson whichever is unprotected (assuming they go a 7-3)

Turris has too much term for what he brings to the table, and they can reach a cap floor by picking from other teams.

I agree that Ekholm is the most likely to be traded of their top 4 D, but I think they'll get a better return than this. Ekholm > Domi and the 2nd doesn't make up that difference. With this cap-hit and the flat-cap, his value only increases.

NSH could always have a deal in place for Seattle to take Turris, but a lot will depend on how he plays next season. If he puts up 50+ points, maybe Seattle takes him for 3 years to play 2/3C. He was on pace for 40+ points this season playing with mostly 4th liners, so given better linemates, hitting 50+ isn't out of reach for him.

definitely, though it depends on what Seattles vision of their team is.

Vegas clearly said "we want our own players" which is why they stocked up on goalies and defense, and flipped them for picks so they could stock their own system.

Given how well it worked, I think Seattle follows the same blueprint.
