I decline all of these trades. We could get Palat/ Killorn for cheep, so they can have the cap.

Cheaper than two left pieces... & Pulj... you don't have any pick as Killorn value is 2x2nd right now and Palat probably more the way they both play right now...
Gourde would be your cheap date... but not these 2= assets

You truly believe giving up Yamamoto and a 14th overall pick (2 guys who would be impact players for the next decade+) as well as a young, recent 30 goal scorer in AA is a smart move to get rid of 3 years of Neal (who just scored 20 goals) and 1 year of Russell? Theres Chiarelli level asset management and then there is this. Yikes

I would easily do the Tampa trade, but it would be tough to fit in cap wise. Tampa would likely be able to get a better return for both of those guys on their own from different teams. They are getting cheaper guys from Edmonton, but none have showed to be overly impactful NHLers

Tampa needs the cap. They are going to get robbed on some of there players, so they can keep the younger ones.

I understand that's why I don't give them the real value...
MTL: would easily give 2x2nd for Killorn
Ana: Would give them one A-Prospect + 2nd for Palat

They can have them then. I understand that I overvalue Puljujarvi like crazy, but still. I wouldn’t do it.

That's why Pulj is included...
and don't forget that you are getting Thierney in that trade who is better alaround player than AA who didn't fit here... and yes I had to find a way to clean 8M to get under the cap halo

Palat not going anywhere with the chemistry he has on the first line. Killorn will get a second and something for a team looking to contend next year. A rebuilding team has no use for a 30 year old.

Thierney + 2nd not much... the get rid of 1 y Russel and 3 year Neal... so the real cost is
AA, 1st 14OA , Yama for Thierney 2nd 35OA
