Gagner is solidifying his spot... while Campbell is earning his bus ticket out of town. I like the idea of slotting Gagner in the #2 spot and move Wennberg down to #3 and Karlsson to #4. Not a bad opening lineup. Hartnell is definitely leading by example so far, we know he is conditioned.

Zaar and Milano to play 4th line? I have a feeling Calvert and Campbell will be inserted because of their seniority. Torts is faithful to his vets. Anyways what does those 2 guys playing 10 mins a night on the 4th line going to do really? I think them getting big minutes in the AHL would be better suited for them. Calvert and Campbell are 4th line players. They should be there. That's what your paying them 3.7M for.

F50marco Judging by what Torts has been saying, all jobs are open. There is a growing suspicion that the Jackets might be able roll 4 scoring lines. Milano, and Zaar have looked very good. It is possible.

Would you expect him to say otherwise? These are the things you have to say to keep players hungry. When was the last time 2 offensive minded rookies started on the 4th line and stuck with the team all year? It just doesn't happen Jacketsman. Believe me I wish a couple Habs rookies could form a talented 4th line but lets be realistic, its wishful thinking. Most teams 4th lines are deployed as a energy line that can contribute in other ways then the scoreboard.

I don't think Milano is really set up to play the 4th line? He should be a 1st or 2nd line guy & might have to wait for a injury.
