Ive said this to every trade I saw with Byron, he's worth at least the 3rd nothing less, imo. Also Kulak has played very well.. thats a bad move imo. He adds value to our team and Romanov won't be ready for top pairing duty right from the get go.

keep Kulak, always good to have a depth option in case of injuries.

Byron - 2 straight seasons of injuries, and term left, his value is below a 3rd imo, he's like Shaw was before the trade, one more injury away from being LTIR for extended period.

We have Chiraot/Romanov/Kulak/Leskinen/Norlinder/Struble/Harris. If we sign Edmunson, you add him in there too, then it becomes Chiraot/Romanov/Edmunson/Kulak/Leskinen/Norlinder/Struble/Harris. There is no room for Mete. I wouldn't be surprised if Kulak AND Mete are dealt away.

If you think your 4 goal bottom line guy is worth a 3rd can you at least find a different team to dump him on? Sens have zero interest in giving up anything for him he is of no interest to us.

I see Norlinder as a slightly better Mete and Struble as a much bigger Mete who from videos I've watched of him at Northeastern can carry the puck pretty well too. Mete loses corner battles and net front battles easily because he's small. Yeah he's good at carrying the puck, but he doesn't generate much offense. To be honest Mete would be much better as a winger honestly.

Yeah and now he’s older, had several injuries, and is worse, while still being paid 3.4mil for 3 years or whatever. If we’re going to suck why would we give up draft picks for worse players than we already have locked up to term and an annoying cap hit? It doesn’t make any sense, he’d literally just steal a roster spot from one of our young guys, hindering development. Stop trading him to us.
