Overall, these moves are not necessarily aggressive nor will they make them contenders next year. However, I think this sets them up nicely to take advantage of massive amounts of cap space next year and begin the contention window. Thoughts?

Roster Notes
-Hank buyout :(
-Niku, Staal and Guhle all fight for playing time on the 3rd pair. Next year once Staal leaves, Lundkvist slots in a 3RD and Niku/Guhle/Hajek/Reunanen/Robertson all fight for 3LD. The competition will be good and the Rangers can consider doing a Gauthier/Keane type trade with the remainders.
-I'd like to see Gautheir get more minutes, but realistically a line of Laff-Chytil-Goat would probably get eaten alive defensively. I think Fast is the perfect player to bring some defensive minded hockey to that third line, hopefully they can get him to a favorable 1-2 year deal seeing as the market will not booming for players like Fast due to the flat cap. And hopefully DQ gives that 4th line some minutes instead of playing plugs for 6 minutes a night, that's a quality line.
-Shesty 50 starts, Georgiev 30~ starts.
-Look to trade Strome as a rental if the team isn't in a playoff spot at the deadline.
-Lundestrom/Kravtsov/Hajek are possible call-ups
-Andersson -> SHL; Robertson -> WHL
