DAL trade is interesting, but moving Faksa for a pending UFA D stinks. Maybe drop the pick or make it conditional...

Georgiev isn't worth half as much as Rangers fans think he is: the goalie market is saturated af right now and the Rags are at the mercy of whether or not Lundqvist retires. The package of Nurse and Puljujarvi is very much worth Buchnevich and Georgiev; I'd argue it's worth more. Go soak your head.

This is not the season to trade Nurse. Dillon is absolutely not an upgrade. If you want DeMelo, just sign Benning: they're statistically equivalent, the only exception to the two men is that Benning's never gotten a shake in the top-4. Likely cheaper too, given that multiple teams are going to line up to give DeMelo $4M...

I don't like either Athanasiou or Ennis as options for the LW (wouldn't mind Ennis as a #3LW, not as MCDavid's winger). Very into the idea of packaging Neal with a decent prospect to pry Zuccarello out of Minnesota. The Wild get the better contract, Edmonton gets the player with more skill.

One bad 5 game stretch where the whole team stunk, and now everyone's plan is to jump ship without the lifeboats. There's no realistic option for replacing him this summer unless it's in an OEL deal. I don't get it.

it's not one bad 5 game stretch, more of 2 bad seasons in a row
