Description
Tampa trade taken from https://www.capfriendly.com/forums/thread/365162

Saw the Trade and I really liked it not only does it open up $2M but it give them more center deoth in case of emergency. Johnson can easily slide into the 3C role if injuries happen.

Laughable offer. You pay a 1st to move JVR. He's paid way too much.

https://www.capfriendly.com/forums/thread/365162 if you read the description you'd know that I got the trade else where in the ACGM posted they do get salary off

Patrick likely doesn't start the season with the team and the organization see him as a center only it seems even last year in camp when they were looking for a third line wing to make the team they didn't even give him a look there. Even with all his skill and potential I think if he got another year to dominate the AHL it would be better for him in the long run.

Just because you copied someone else's terrible trade doesn't make it good.

Patrick's probably never returning. Migraines get worse until the age of ~50.

I hope he does but there's about a 90% chance he never plays a full season again.

I mean if tampa flips JVR and loses all the salary its a goo trade for both teams there are few teams that Johnson would waive his NTC for so if philly is one of them it would be smart to at least try I guess. As for Patrick in the end of season press conference Fletcher said Patrick is doing well currently and is basically living a normal life. He's skating and playing golf which is definitely a good sign they just have to see how contact effects him at this point.

The trade you copied from has Tampa retaining on JVR at which there's no point to the trade.

If you're taking Gourde and Johnson for JVR then maybe otherwise they take on cap which makes no sense for them.

There's a good chance Patrick can't play a full season ever again based on the diagnosis he was given... like I said I'd be happy for him if he could play; you never wanna see a young guy have a premature end to his career.
