We already have two quality goalie prospects in Dostal and Durny. I don't think we do this trade unless the prospect is Nils Lundkvist. But we'd take Marc Staal off your hands on the way back.

Tempting offer. I'd probably do it. Just trying to see if Anaheim would be willing to do it without him but I wouldn't mind it. Taking Staal back makes the cap work as well.

As a ranger fan even this is pushing it as DeAngelo holds more value than lindholm alone and there is still carolinas pick included. But adding lunqdvist is way too much and he looks way to good to even consider moving him.

I love Nils Lundkvist. That’ll do it. DeAngelo can stay away.

I don't really want to trade Hampus tbh. If it's ADA, Staal, 1st, Lundqvist, then sure, but honestly, Hampus is one of the most underrated dmen in the NHL. ADA's value comes mostly from his offence, whereas Hampus is an excellent 2-way dman.

If the value isn't there, I'd be content to just go and get Barrie (Who could QB PP1), or Brodie (Who can immediately improve our D). No real reason to trade him unless it's an overpay, tbh.

So Anaheim improves their RD with ADA but hurts their LD by dealing Lindholm. Yeah not happening.

Wrong again, as usual. Anaheim has guys who, while clearly not as good as Lindholm, are ready to step up on that side. Going from 100 to 80 on the left while going from 20 to 70 on the right and adding two valuable futures, too is a win for the Ducks.

Not wrong again, There's no freaking way Bob Murray move Hampus Lindholm for that offer. Lindholm is the best Dman on the team cost more then ADA+Lindblom+Carolina's 2020 1st round pick to move him

You’re joking. The Ducks have reportedly had interest on DeAngelo now for the last few weeks.

DeAngelo is a 55-60 point RIGHT HANDED defenceman and right-handed is bolded because there is a lack of them in the NHL. Deangelo is younger than lindholm by 2 years and is on RFA right now so you can lock him up longterm while Anaheim is rebuilding. Lindholm is 27 and will be 29 when contract is over and anaheim hasn't turned it around which based on projections they will still be a bottom 10 team he walks for free and anaheim gets nothing in response. Deangelo and lindholm are equal value 1-1, while both being 3rd defenceman and helps boths teams needs, the fact the 1st was added was an overpayment by nyr's end and i would expect anaheim to take a contract back to make it cap viable for nyr.

NHLRumoursdaily knows as much as we do. He spews scattershot educated guesses with no sources.
