The craziest thing about that draft is that they took Zboril over Chabot. Like they clearly saw the same about of both, they played together. They could have had Chabot and McAvoy.

yawn....its been done to death.

Take out every player traded for, drafted or signed by Boston after those 3 picks changed because you have no idea if they are still in Boston. You change every teams draft board, every game out come and ultimately results year over year.

Remove:
McAvoy
Carlo
Kase
Lidholm
Wagner
Halak
Clifton
Vaak
Lauzon

Oh and we haven't even touched on the asinine assumptions that those 3 players have the same success in Boston they are having with their current teams.

Carlo and DeBrusk aren't nothing. Barzal was the only miss. But if you love an utopian world, enjoy

No, the craziest thing about that draft is that they took Senyshyn over Barzal, Chabot, Connor, or Boeser.

Yeah well the same could be said about every team in the league, And i'm sorry there's no freaking way that Matt Barzal is signing for 4 x $7.25m You'll be lucky to get him for under $9m per for 4 or 5 years.

I mean not really, Zboril was the higher rated player, had a better PPG, was the #1 in Saint John. I actually thought it was the right pick at the time. The real miss is Seny at 15 there were better RWs at the time. But for the 1000th time this post has been made, You really dont know. Seny couldve been drafted by any other team and panned out, BArzal couldve been drafted here and was forced to play the wing due to 37 and 46 and may not have popped off. I think the 2 that wouldve worked regardless are Connor and Boeser, those were the two i really wanted that year.

They are all right @Wqrrior
These are getting old because they are all in Hindsight

If you look at the one I made its actually more realistic
Senyshyn was projected to go round 2, and Barzal was the best guy left by a mile. So in my ACGM that is the ONLY correction I made and it was actually realistic
But no, debrusk was a good pick. Zboril was a good pick (him and chabot were tied in everyones rankings), etc...
