Yea thats about as quick a hard pass and move on from NYR as you can imagine. They arent paying a 1st for your bust that should have been Barzal and a cap dump.

Gostisbhere is a lazy and worse krug. Much worse. Good contract for debrusk, Grzelcyk maybe gets more for that term. And I don't think NYR except.

Toffoli wants to stay in Van and they want to keep him. I doubt he ends up being available.

Krejci is not getting traded. I understand his cap hit is helping hold us back cap wise, but he’s still one of the better 2nd centers in the league. Last year of his contract. Next year if does not retire they can sign him for half.

Rather use the cap space to sign TJ Brodie than go after Ghost.

If they want to win a cup, trading krecji is a step away from that. Having three solid centers is what made the bruins last year and this year so good. Also Studs would not be ready to take those mins as much as I wish he was.

Senyshyn isn't any good but krejci is a rental, he isn't a cash dump and at 34 hes still gonna be better than strome. But I agree he isn't a good fit for the rangers.

Yea makes no sense whatsoever for NYR and doesnt get the 22'nd pick in a deep draft. Like thats the asset that is the starting point for a 2c with term, a top 4 LD etc. Not a Krejci rental at 7.2m

Why do you trade Krejci if you're trying to contend???

I think Coyle can handle 2C and I believe Studnicka can handle 3C. I also don't think Bruins can contend any longer even with Krejci so I decided to move him.

oh he's not and hasnt been for over 2-3 years. He is a middle 6 forward with an overpayment of a salary.

Sure did. The playoffs told me that at some point Bruins will run into TB where they are outmatched. I'm a fan of Krejci but I'd try to get something for him as opposed to him walking for nothing. Most think Studnicka isn't ready, Bruins management mentality. Was Cirelli ready at the same age for TB? My point is you have to let young players that are good like Studnicka play regularly in his position. He will make mistakes along the way but he will improve significantly.

2nd line is middle 6 genius. We know he’s overpaid. Has nothing to do with his on ice performance.

Neither side makes this trade.

Crawl back under your rock.

middle 6 indicates 2nd or 3rd line for clarification, Bruins would dream of making this deal. His on ice performance matters in all trades indicating his value. That is all.

They dream of it for cap purposes only. On ice it makes them worse and they are in win now mode. They can live with his contract for 1 more year. Then he takes a significant pay cut if he stays.
