Description

Adding a couple forwards who have shown they can suppress shots will help the Leafs hold leads, even if they aren't great additions offensively. Don't love trading Kerfoot (third line is not an offensive beast) but it's just to create a different look.

I am not sure how far off I am with value on these forwards but with Fiala, Kaprizov and Zucc there Minny has lots of wings.

The Hamonic contract might not be perfect, but obviously there is space to add to that number.

I don't see Sandin or Lily being options right off the bat, maybe they add in after the trade deadline and you can make a move at that point.

I didn't play around with goalie trades but potentially kicking the tires with Kuempfer is a great idea.

There is cap room to give him more. Or look elsewhere. Demelo or Tanev would both look good there, I think they all end up costing between 3 and 4. Unless a big trade can be made a UFA addition would be just fine.
