in terms of goalies, i truly have no idea whos going to come out. Everyone is inconsistent, 1 year they look good and the next meh. I could totally see them making a move for Georgiev and rolling with Georgiev/Hogberg 50/50 until they see what they have in the youngsters

I think you could probably remove logan brown from that deal, a 1st and 2nd for cirelli seems like a fair deal (similar to the pageau deal) and i find pageau and cirelli similar players

100%. Heres what happens if they acquire Matt Murray:
sign him to 1 year deal, demands ridiculous contract and threatens to leave in free agency. We lose him for nothing
Sign him to a long term deal (and we got a Martin Jones situation on our hands possibly)
Theres way more risk than reward with him

Im just not on board to pay him a bunch coming off the year he had. Martin jones is a perfect comp of what i was thinking. But yeah maybe if we were competing for a cup, but until we get some defense, a goalie wont do much for us

I think ottawa has the assets that they still do that trade in a heartbeat, but i think you could make the case that his point totals are slightly inflated due to playing on a loaded lightning team
