Get real Eriksson+Vancouver's 2021 1st round pick doesn't return Edmonton's 2020 2nd round pick it would either be a 6th or 7th round pick or a player like Erne/Perlini going the other way. Both Mantha and Domi get far more then what you're offering them.

That's not enough to take Eriksson. It should be a 1st+ being sent our way, or Demko/DiPietro + 2nd/3rd. I don't think we should trade for Domi either, although we do need to find a 2C somewhere and I have no clue who it will be.

So a 2nd back to vancouver is too much maybe a 4th but even thats pushing it. Swapping the pick for domi is fine, he fixes the 2nd line. Too much for tvr but I dont mind the signing. The big thing is even with cholo being better and by better I mean able to play 60 games and not completely fall apart in his own zone you need to add a ld. I can't expect DD to stay healthy and nemeth os probably a deadline trade candidate so id like another ld who can play.

I think he is saying Vancouver robbed us blind with that trade. Since we gave up way to much to get that 1st anything we acquire with it will be an overpayment. And alwaysnextyear's comment seems to back that up.

Where are they going to finish? Probably 20-24? Domi is a 2nd line player and I wouldn't give that to get him. It may depends on how good the '21 class tho. As I said, some may disagree.

I think for a young team that will hopefully be in the playoffs getting a somewhat young second line winger is easily worth a 20-24 pick in 2021. The 2021 draft isn’t shaping up to be a great draft by any means.
