Well if Fleury absolutely wants to stay in Vegas, then he'd probably ban the teams that could actually afford him.

From the success perspective, he'd probably ban the teams currently at the bottom of the league.

If he wants ice time, he'd probably ban the teams he'd certainly become a 2G in.

There's a number of ways to approach this.

Pittsburgh makes sense, they'd probably have to flip Murray, and Flower and Jarry can split games.

Not sure if pittsburgh would get full value for Murray if this trade happens first.

Yeah, I'd say it's most he'd most like want to end up somewhere he could play, based on him waiving to go to Vegas originally. It's not like anyone thought they'd have much success.

They have an internal budget next season though.

I can see Carolina going with MAF and Nedeljovic. He'd have fun there. They need to move on from Mrazek and Reimer doesn't make much in actual $ so Ottawa would probably want him.

And before Carolina fans chime in with a bad take: MAF may be a has-been but he can still steal a series or 3, while Mrazek is a never-was. They've been doing the goalie reclamation thing for a while now.

Makes sense the Pens are slashing salary right now. JR deals Murray and has MAF and Jarry for the season win win for the Pens.

Then Fleury is taken by Seattle, LOL. I wonder what he'd actually do if he was taken

Will Seattle stand to profit in 2022? By then the pandemic may be long gone while every other team has taken huge losses.

Marc-Andre Fleury could come back to Pittsburgh to end his career. I see that happening way more than him coming back now

Hed be pretty close to home so it's a fit but yes it does hinge on Price waving and Montreal wanting him to.

It would also fit a pattern of trading for Allen as well.

That's a fairly pricey buyout in a flat cap for a team who's in win now mode that needs every dollar of cap space to build a winning team.

It would be, I don't see how the Penguins could fit Fleury in.
