Why would a rebuilding LA give two 1st rounders for a 30 year old player

Like the Stamkos idea, but doesn't really make sense for LA or Stammer. There's really no way that Johnson waives for Ottawa but who knows. Gourde would be good for the Habs but I doubt they have the money.

Because the 30 year old is one of the best in the world?

Not saying that this should happen from either team's point of view, but the value is pretty apt imo.
