100% accurate statement, but I still don’t make this trade...unless, the Wild simply want to build a team to try and outscore their opponents every night (might actually be a nice change...)...but Monahan is a completely unengaged defender and flat out refuses to engage in a puck battle. He would drive me nuts!!!

Thats true. Dumba for Monahan straight up is an interesting move but I don't think that's enough for Calgary. I think the Wild go for a package of younger guys with a future top 6 C in it.

But who? I think most of the other Dumba trades ask for too much in return, or he doesn't really work on said team. This is the only one where the cap and positional need makes some sense
