Ducks aren’t gonna trade Lindholm for singular prospect

Lundkvist is a great prospect no doubt, but still a question mark.

No team in their right mind is moving an established first pair D for one prospect. That's just insane.

considering Mark Stone went for Erik Braanstrom and a 2nd, i think Lindholm for Lundqivst is decently fair, especially considering the fact that Lundqvist is probably better than Braanstrom

Stone was a rental. And tbh OTT could've gotten more I reckon but they wanted to ship the guy pretty much as far as possible from Ottawa.

And no, I don't necessarily think Lundkvist is better than Brännström, despite his latest campaign.

Want to see the guy in NA before making any claims though.

Stone immediately signed an extension, so that must've been in place. Though I agree, ottawa shouldve got more, but stone is definitely a much more valuable player than Lindholm.

Lundkvist looks legit, i agree its important to see him play in NA first, but all signs point to him being a great RHD. his time in sweeden is much better than Brännström's

Nils looked impressive this past year but come on, he has yet to play a game on NA ice to see if he can translate his game over here. Rangers add if they want OEL.

Stone signed a contract right away. The term is irrelevant. The Sens and Vegas both know Stone would be there long term.

That is true, although the Sens were desperate, because they had 30 mins to trade Stone or they lose him for nothing. And Vegas might’ve been one of the only teams he was willing to sign with. So while it is more than what he would’ve fetched as a rental, the Senators weren’t getting market value for Stone in an ideal world.

Ducks would never consider this. If they did, Murray should be fired on the spot.

yeah i agree ottawa shouldve got more for stone, but my whole point is, Lundkvist is a top prospect and ducks have nobody on the right side. Maybe rangers add, but this is definitely an interesting proposal

Works out if ducks don’t do it cause I’m not giving up Nils and his $925k entry level contract. Gonna need to resign Lindholm and he’s gonna be at least $6 mil plus for 7 years. No thanks, we already got anchors in Trouba and Kreider to torture us in the future.
