Description
Just the Base trade tweak it however you deem fit.

From Wild side. They get a 50 point #2C in Schmaltz and with Brodin extension MIN will have 3 Dmen with NMC going into Seattle expansion so its traded Dumba or go 4-4-1 which would cost them Kunin or Ek. Goligoski waives NTC to come home and escape the sinking ship in ARI and helps fill top 4 D for a year

ARI side. They shed a player with a gradually increasing salary over the contract. Stefan and Dvorak hold top 6 slots for 1 year and ARI hopes Hayton and develop into #2C with a full year of NHL experience. Dumba gives the ARI a solid top4 RD they've been missing for a long time with no worries about Seattle expansion (only 2 D need protecting currently). Donato just a depth forward added to balance the salary and term difference in Dumba vs Schmaltz but could be replaced with a pick.

I think if Dumba moves to AZ then it has to be Dvorak coming back IMO. If OEK moves, I think it would make some sense. They have 2 good C prospects and I think the Wild needs to target the best.

What do you consider Dvorak’s potential? I just don’t see him at the same level as Dumba...

He’s a consistent 40 point C at 5 years for 4.5 mil. Better than schmaltz but no, probably not better than Dumba. But he probably is one of the best game ready options that could be available.

He would probably be fine in my 3 - #2 centers plan, but Im definitely not giving up Dumba for him unless AZ sweetens the pot quite a bit!

I’m sympathetic to that assessment too. I think I’m starting to push for the AZ C because they have 2 top notch C prospects coming up and they are in dire financial need. Also trying to think of different place Dumba could go to get that C.
