Man I wish that was Trouba going to Anaheim and not DeAngelo. 50-60 points is tough to replace and he’s gonna be cheaper than him.

High taxed New York City, Cirelli isn't signing anything less then $7m to $8m per long term. Guarantee you that.

Just stating facts my man, Cirelli will make $5 million in Tampa $6.4m from New York will be less take home for him. Besides Tampa isn't moving Cirelli and he's already stated that he's not signing any offer sheets.

Trouba isnt going anywhere. If the NYR signed him like that with an NMC and then did him dirty by trading him days before it kicked in, agents will never negotiate in good faith with Gorton again. The 1 and 2 RD spots are Trouba and Fox for a long time. And with Nils in the pipeline, Tony is out, either after this year or next, or at this years deadline. But

I understand this, but never say never because they did it to Stepan before his contract turned into a NMC and he was drafted by them. Plus I said I wished that would happen.

source for where he said this? and he won't make 5 mil there because they can't afford him at 5 mil unless they plan on trading serg

I would give up the 3rd and take on a bad contract for georgiev, like staal. Not giving up a 2nd in this year's draft though

I would do that if i ever thought staal would waive. Like Georgiev and Staal for a 2020 and 2021 3rd would be pretty solid for Detroit to take on cap. But I feel like if you are going to weaponize cap, Det is probably looking for a worse contract for more return.

We can take staal and smith and lund to make a better return, if they all waived.

I mean in theory. But the cost to do that would be pricey in futures and for just one year of relief, the Rangers arent gonna be going for it next year. Makes more sense just to try and get through the year without more dead money in the future and let Staal, Smith and Hank fall off books.
