Leafs wouldn't get Mrazek, he's a downgrade in net. Though for that cheap of a return MAYBE they'd consider it? That's you just practically giving him away haha

I dont get why Leaf fans want to trade away Anderson in net. Its not like they are just going to go find a goalie better than him haha.

Yeah i didnt spend any time on that trade, it was just to clear the Goalie spot and cap space

From everything that has been written this summer, Jarry is their pick to be the future. Murray is gone, it's just a matter of what Rutherford is willing to settle on as a return. So internally, Jarry is valued more than that 1st.

I can't imagine Pittsburgh doing this. Their window is open right now and picks aren't worth much to them unless they're NHL ready players.

Also the whole Jarry instead of Murray thing doesn't make sense. Jarry has an extra year before UFA, will be cheaper, and played better.

As for the penguins they would probably need a prospect or another solid pick. Or take Jack Johnson lol. Don't see them moving Jarry tho.

Andersen has been good the past two playoffs but he hasn't stolen a game for 3 years in a playoff setting. I think the Leafs, knowing his contract is up, are just open to moving on from him. They do need a succession plan anyways, to being proactive is a shrewd plan. I still think it's about a 90% plan that he remains a leaf for this season. There is even a chance he signs a short term deal. But if we can upgrade, we will.

They haven't won a playoff game in 2 years, their window isn't open. They do need a rebuild, but GMJR is an idiot and will not rebuild until Crosby and Malkin retire

Can't agree with you there. They've definitely got some issues to work out but Crosby and Malkin are pretty far from useless. Pens still finished 7th in the league in points percentage this abbreviated season, Crosby and Malkin combined for 55 games missed. Pittsburgh will do everything they can to squeeze success out of what's left of those two before entering a rebuild. I don't expect to enter a rebuild for a few more seasons yet.
