you didn't fix the defense, you broke it.

the defense was largely fine minus ristolainen, who you rewarded with top 4 minutes

No point in getting long term guys on D. You have I think the top 6 are fine. I'm sure one of Miller. Mountour, or Risto will be traded this off season. Then bring in a nice defensive LHD such as UFAs Merrill or Hutton. If you wanna stay cheap, bring up Jacob Bryson, a little small IMO but seems like he may be NHL ready. Or try to bring Pilut back. But the D we have in the pipeline is going to be real nice. Think of the future D Core we have here .... no need to lock up a below avg D-Man like Ceci, In like Brodie, but he won't sign here and he'll sign for more.
