Good deals for DeBrusk, Zboril, Kuhlman, Senyshyn, Chara. Doubt Grzelcyk accepts. Why sign Borowiecki? And he isn't signing for $1M. 3 picks for Reinhart is a lot; prefer trading for an RW and give up 1st/2nd+B prospect if we can. And Kase has played well with 74-46 so far. This also leaves Studnicka as a scratch; either he's playing in the top9 or in the AHL.

If BoroCop was gonna sign for 1mil he’d be staying in Ottawa where he belongs ;(

Sens accept that trade though

I dont think boston can stand to lose the picks honestly. I like reinhart alot actually but pay hoffman for 3 years get similar production and save 3 picks.

I wouldn’t give $7M a year AAV to Reinhart.

I really don’t hate the idea at all, except I do hate that the Bruins can’t afford to lose anymore picks. I think Boston is done trading their first rounder for a long time.

Maybe but the Bs need to win now or the window is closed. Reinhart will produce a lot more in Boston. He can eventually play C I’m sure.

I agree somewhat. Grizz should be happy to take that deal. He’s a 20 point player currently while playing mostly 3rd pairing minutes. I think $3.5 m for 4 years is adequate.
I’d trade 3 picks for Reinhart all day. You get a top 6 RW for those few picks. And signed for 7 years!! Great.
I agree with you on Studnicka. Not sure they want him in the AHL anymore though but could happen.

Grzelcyk isn't an offensive D and Krug always had more PP time/o-zone draws. He is better defensively and he can play in any situation and both sides. Bruins can indeed use that against him: he's mostly played on the third pair. But everyone that has watched Grzelcyk the past 2-3 years know he can play as top4 D and he could get that role and that $3.5M pay somewhere else if there wasn't Chara/Krug in front of him. Agree to disagree with Reinhart; not even sure he's the best fit here.

I see your point on Grezlcyk but I’m not certain he can deliver the points that Krug has. Though he is far better defensively for sure. $4 m for 4 years is probably good for him.
I personally would not offer sheet anyone ... ever. Too bad blood goes with that.

We can agree on that, Grzelcyk won't be Krug. Offensively, don't see him getting 50-60 pts but 30-40 can happen.

if grz gets pp1 time, and gets offensive zone starts similar to what krug was getting i could 100% see him getting 50-60 points.

krug: 638 pastrnak 596 marchand 513 bergeron
GRZ: 417 coyle 358 krejci 315 debrusk 310 heinen 265 marchand 263 pastrnak 209 bergeron a little more than half difference in points and a little more than half difference with 2 100 point players and bergeron... i mean how much is krug, how much is it the first line?
