Fast will sign around 2.75M
DeMelo around 4M

Find other players to fill those spots because the contract you give them are unrealistic

4M for DeMelo?! That's insane. I feel bad for the team that pays that.

And Fast is a wildcard I could see anything from 1-4M

DeMelo will get at least 3.5M I can’t see it signing for less
RHD UFA : Pietrangelo Hamonic Shattenkirk DeMelo
The first will ask for 9.5M
The second always injured
The 3rd offensive minded dman
DeMelo good defensively and a lot of team will go after him

Monahan has scored over 65 points once, although he scored 82 that year. When he did that, his shooting percentage was through the roof comparing to his other seasons. There is good reason to believe he is a good 60 point, 25 goal center who does not contribute that much defensively. A very good 2nd line center.

Dumba had a massive down year, but his play is probably in the 30-40 point range with a possibility of scoring 20 goals.

I would do this one-for-one but many Flames fans would not. I am not ready to give up on Kunin and trade him for a conditional 2nd, but maybe Greenway instead?

I like Greenway but he hasn't done enough to merit enough value in my opinion. I'm hoping he can be a force there are few power-forwards remaining.

What would be equal value to you if Dumba was to be included?

I think if the 2nd wasn’t there it still wouldn’t be enough. Calling him a 20 goal guy when he has a career low pace of 24 goals (3 30+ goal seasons, two more at 27+) is discounting how good he is. He isn’t the best 1C but he gets to 25 goals every year, usually 30 (he’s also top 15 in goals over the last 6 seasons, same place if you extend it to 7). He can put the puck in the net and handle those minutes. Given the season Dumba just had, his hot start in 2018-19 seems like an anomaly, not the norm. I like him, but our C depth is already bad with Monahan, so it would have to be a more appealing package than just Dumba+Kunin, and we’d have to have another top 6 C coming in in some other deal.

What would you add on Minny's side?
