Value wise is OK but team perspective... do Lindholm ever played C in the NHL... more than half a year I mean...

Lindholm is certainly not a downgrade from Monahan in the C position - that 3 month stint he was played there last year was very purposeful to see if he could shoulder the load.

When you look at this trade back with Car: CGy got it big getting Lindholm + Hanifin for Hamilton and Fox... and then Carolina trade Fox for 2x2nd and Fox hit 50pts pace... outch!!!!

Both CGY and CAR were over a barrel by Fox - he had made it known he was pretty much only interested in signing with NYR. Certainly a problem with the RFA system
