Gustafsson sucks defensively and Bjork isn't a fit for the 4th; better to keep him in the top9 and no need of Brassard then.

Ok so being good (or not) at defense matters when it's Gust but not when it's Krug? lol funny logic you guys have

IMO, Krug is better defensively than Gustafsson. He is not great but not as bad. Second thing, Krug is elite offensively/on the PP especially; Gustafsson is good/great. Bruins also gave him most o-zone draws and even though you'll tell me we can do same with Gustafsson, not guaranteed it works out and there's also more chemistry between 63/88/37/47.

And what's better than an offensive dman? A two-way dman so if Bruins want an LD, I would prefer a TWD. It's time for McAvoy to get the PP1 minutes.

If the Bs are going to get more out of Bergeron/Krejci/Coyle before the top two centers retire or move on, I want a bigger impact forward in the top 6.

I honestly don’t get why other bruins fans are signing Gustafsson. I just don’t get it at all. Please no. You want a defenseman? How about let’s get a two way dman, someone that’s a bit more reliable defensively than Gustafsson. Since Krug is departing, this is a chance to get someone who may not have the offense of Krug, but better defensively than Krug.

Well said. I don’t get why people are signing Gustafsson. It seems people are panicking about losing Krug. News flash, if Krug leaves it’ll be close to impossible replacing him immediately and I don’t think people understand that. He’s top 5 in scoring among dmen past 3 years or something like that. We’re not gonna be able to replace that and people have to realize that. However, like you said, I’m definitely on board getting someone who’s more two way and stout defensively
