Not sure what the benefit for Vegas is,

Yeah they can move him for picks, but it's just one more trade they have to make.
(they won't be able to keep him)

Same reason an Anderson for Murray swap doesn't make sense

Also, you're overpaying cousins IMO. He was decent for us, but i would never give him that close to 3mil

Vegas I don't think is cash strapped cause the benefit for Freddie is teams will only need to pay him 1mill. And with that report slot of teams don't got the cash, that could be tempting

Blues aren't open to doing that ever. We take on more cap so that means we lose both 55 and 27. Look at it from both points of view not just yours if you wanna make an ACGM.

Last summer Johnsson for Jensen would've been a win for WSH. This year Johnsson got injured and underperformed, while Jensen got better defensively as the season went on.

The cap is flat. Tor is dumping 1M of cap hit in an injured player. Both teams are deeper at LW than RHD.

Tor needs to sweeten that a little bit.

I think recency bias is playing too much into your evaluation of that trade. WSH may not need a LW and that is valid but that trade is fair if there is a fit

We just said the same thing, but you said it like I was wrong about it.

WSH could use an offensively talented player at any spot, but losing an RHD could put them in a spot, depending how free agency plays out.
