We don't want to trade Parayko for spare parts, we don't want to trade Parayko in general stop trying.

But you also want to retain your captain who is going to cost quite a bit of money, moving parayko can free up some space to keep him and in turn you get a speedy winger in johnsson and a solid young d-man in dermott

Okay. Parayko isn't a cap relief player. We can trade Bozak who has a 500K left than Parayko just easier than what you want to offer as spare parts for Parayko. Johnsson a Middle 6 Forward, and a Dermott Bottom Pairing Defenseman Career guy, and that for a Top Pairing Defenseman? Yeah I'm good.

The only trade that I think really couldn't happen is the Parayko trade but Andersen to Caroline for Pesce is very likely, Nylander a possible 2nd and Justin Holl for Ekblad is reasonable, as is the Matt Murray trade.

too much trade for nothing....i think toronto made a mistake when they sign tavares it wasnt worth it now they have amazing offense no defence

That Pesce and Ekblad trade involved retention. The Pesce one also got a first rounder. Not broke if. The Laine one got Laine with retention, not happening. Gauthier doesn’t get a 3rd. The package made does not get Parayko. You’re overvaluing the Toronto players big time
