I've seen a lot worse. Glass is a tough get, you might have to settle for picks and other pieces even with Gaudreau in the deal because Fleury is such an upgrade for CGY but this isn't unreasonable.

that is so so bad for Calgary....Fleury is not an upgrade on Rettich especially when you take his $7M per year contract into account so it comes to Cody Glass for Gaudreau which is absolute robbery by the knights and Treliving would be fired

Thanks for your input, if the trade stays with those current pieces, what do you think Vegas could and would add to make this work?

i cant decide who wins this trade. fleury HUGE upgrade in goal. but the available goalie market is also huge this year. gaudreau will leave via FA market next year anyway, glass is high end center prospect.
very interesting trade, i dont see it being pulled off. nice effort on this one. does address both teams needs. divisional rivals. flames most likely will not find a buyer for gaudreau and will get nothing for him when he leaves via FA next year. and i think FA goalie market is flames best chance to make a major upgrade in goal. also the flames have a ton of work to do with their own UFA and RFA's .

my bad gaudreau has 2 yrs left. even harder to tell who wins . i would have to go calagary winning this trade. based on cap and glass. lehner and fleury is just too much to spend on goal. vegas is exempt from seattle entry draft so they do NOT need to figure a way to send someone.
