Description

Leafs won’t get him unless Andersen is dealt. Kerfoot, Dermott and Holl would have to be traded on top of Johansson just to afford him. Once Andersen, Robertson, Sandin, Liljegren and Hyman’s deals are up, Toronto would be even more cap-strapped.

I always know to check the users favourite team when I see mango listed as johansson....

The team would certainly be arranged different then what you have here. I also can’t see the leafs offering that much for a 30yr old Dman. I do agree that Petro isn’t a great fit.

i know that the 4th line wouldn’t look like that at all, i just did this bc some leafs fans was convinced that they could get Petro by only trading Johansson lmao

Every potential suitor for Pietrangelo has a ton of cap to move, not sure how you can confidently say he won't be a Leaf - just takes some roster surgery but he's a top-5 d-man and he's reportedly looking for less than 9 million. Any opportunistic GM could make it work; plus the Leafs don't have bad contracts, they could move just about anyone to make it happen.
