Not a fan of the Wild or the Oilers but I would much rather have Kaprizov lol

I mean you have a guy who wants to be in the national league, played pro for three years in a better league than Puljujarvi and produced more this year. Opposed to a guy with a 140 game trial in the NHL, quite a few of which were played with the best player on the planet and he's mustered a whopping 37 points. I take Kaprizov or Puljujarvi every single day and it's not close

What's the point of this post?

Interesting comparable between the two. Doubt either team would at this point. Both sides have put a lot of work in to see them play for their team.
Which player has higher ceiling I’d actually lean towards JP has every tool to be an excellent top line forward. His body of work thus far is underwhelming but anyone following the oilers in that time should very much understand why that’s not really a good evaluation of his capabilities. Good shot smooth skater excellent passer endless amount of energy. Some may question his hockey iq but I’m convinced that’s a result of lucic. Generally don’t like to blame one player for stuff like this but when everybody fell off the cliff near him it’s hard not to.
