You’re at least a 1st short on Cirelli and Cernak is worth 2nd+prospect on his own, and Killer’s probably worth a 2nd, or at least 3rd+ on his own as well

Detroit takes that and runs, Svechnikov has no future in Detroit. And as much as i like Smith i'd love Cirelli even more and we can easily move the Edmonton 2nd if Cirelli is the prize.

Leafs will give you a 2nd for Cernak/Killorn package and figure the rest out later.

Jesus christ the value of especially Cirelli, but also Cernak is very, very high. Even Killorn is a huge plus in terms of contract value. Johnson and Gourde - the more reasonable players to move, aren't even real burdens for their cap hit either, although Johnson might be +/- 0 at this point. You're just giving away assets for free here. I don't know if Svechnikovs value sky rocketed after his younger brother became a star or something, but Evgeny hasn't proven anything on the NHL level. This is a disaster, and an unmitigated one at that.

If you're shipping these guys out you can shop them for more than this. cap crunch or no they'll still get more. Habs paid a 5th for Edmunson's ufa rights people will pay way more for Cernak's rfa rights.

I feel that all this is bad for Tampa...
Killorn to MTL: 2nd , A-Propsect (ex:Poehling)
Cernak: to Tor RFA sign at 2M/2years... at least a 2nd... or maybe a A-Prospect like Abramov
For Cirelli wait for the O-S you would get more in return then that! At least ask Veleno and Cholowski at least... who would be a better return from Detroit
and finally Paquette is way more valuable than a 7th round pick...
Very Bad for the Boltz

Teams will not want to pay fair value for these players because they do not want to help them and make them better. I could maybe see Detroit adding two seconds instead of one for cirelli, but killorn is a cap dumb despite a decent, and cernak is sweetner.

Yup you are a complete troll. Imagine prioritizing screwing over 1 team instead of making your team better

No way that happens. Killorn had a breakout year his value is not that high, especially since Tampa is desperate. Detroit is trying to build up their D, so likely Veleno may be a possible return instead of the 2nd rounder

Listen man thats how the NHL works. A couple years ago Sheary and Hunwick were both traded for a combined conditional 4th rounder. Sheary himself at the time was worth a 2nd rounder. However, Pittsburgh needed cap and got desperate.

Mojo gets Eric Staal. or Eric Staal get Mojo. either way you spin it Killorn alone gets a 3rd worst case. Cernak gets a 2nd on an offersheet worst case.

40 different teams would make drastically better offers than this. Thats right, teams would literally come int existence and beat your garbage trades

You literally don't understand how an economy works, even a closed one like the NHL. There is excess of supply of good players under contract compared to cap hit in Tampa, but there's not in the league overall. "Not helping Tampa" isn't the primary, secondary or even tertiary motivation for any team in the League. Everyone's primary goal is to be better, either short- or long term. Someone will pay more than this for these players.

The value is too low on these deals, but the idea isn't wrong. Tampa can't afford to bring in other contracts, and you guys will not get any sort of value for Killorn, because teams smell blood in the water. They aren't bailing you guys out for fair value. Where the value is insufficient in these trades is Cirelli and Cernak RFA. Teams would trade higher prospects and picks to get them. But if you think they'll get that for Killorn, you're crazy. Tampa has zero leverage in any negotiations. And every team knows they can't afford to keep Killorn. He has a modified trade clause so only contenders most likely on that list, and most contenders are going to have to make subsequent moves in order to fit that contract in themselves, because any tampa deal can't take a contract back therefore you'll get fleeced in most deals this summer. Its the price of cap hell.

it is true... no leverage but GM respect each other for future negociations and would take benefit yes but not fleace them
