If you're going to take 2 of the Wild's centers which they're shot on, you're going to need to send over 2 LW which they're deep at. Sorry, I don't make the rules.

Strome is a center and Granlund is a RW. Sorry, left wings only!

(this is a joke because of yesterday's Staal/Johansson trade)

Granlund isn't a center. Trust me, if anyone knows this, it's Minnesota

Strome doesn't get you Dumba & DeAngelo (a player Minnesota really doesn't need, at least long term) doesn't get you they're JEE & Sturm. Minnesota NEEDS Joel

For NYR, there's no point in bringing in Dumba and trading Tony to do it; the whole reason Tony is available is because hypothetically NYR wouldn't want to pay him the 5+m annually to be a 3rd pairing guy, with Trouba and Fox (and his eventual extension). Taking on Dumba in exchange just recreates that problem. Sturm and JEE are intriguing pieces though.

For MIN, doesn't trading Dumba for Tony recreate your problem as well? Part of the problem is you can't protect Suter, Spurgeon, Brodin AND Dumba effectively, and bringing in Tony gives you another D you'd have to protect.

personally, (i may be biased) but I think JEE hasn't reached his full potential, and strome is great don't get me wrong, but just isn't a fit for the wild in my mind. Also Dumba is better any deangelo
