Islanders have cap problems. Their not going to take on more cap in a trade.

Mayfield's contract is way too good for what he brings.I
Johnsson is still a 3rd line LW on the Islanders.

I was thinking they probably dump Ladd on Ottawa or another team that can take it

Literally almost every injury we had last season was ltir so I don't really know what you are talking about, that is what the scratches are for.
