I wouldn’t exactly say this is a bargain, but still a respectable contract. Aube-Kubel showed he could play in the big leagues this year, and he deserves big leagues money. Solid bottom six/middle six guy

Nice bottom six guy with some skill and grit. Good deal for both parties. Myers and Patrick are the interesting RFAs.

Fair deal. I dont see it as a huge bargain, but i like the price certainty for the next two seasons.

Tous le monde pense que c'est un top 3, mais tu devines qu'elle traine une vieille blessure. Même si elle est capable de moves de pros, elle a l'air de manquer de focus sur sa game et de valeurs d'équipe. 🙊

Seriously, he had no negociation leverage so good for him to get a 2 years deal.

Many more contracts like this are coming because of the flat cap. Players will take it for 2 years and hope for a long term deal after or go UFA.

They need to swallow the pill or leave for Europe and risk loosing their spot in the NHL.

He was actually much better in PHI than in the AHL this season. He's a late bloomer, but he sorta has a habit for scoring big goals.
