No. He is not that bad, but there seems like half of the fan base is furious that he isnt leading the league in points. They are the same folks that think Hagg is worth playing 82 games because *reason* despite his inability to get the puck out of a paper bag.

Ghost had a very bad season this year, but looked like he regained his skating after a knee procedure over the pause. I would love to see him dressing with someone like nisky or Myers. I believe he has more 35+pt seasons left opposed to another year like we saw this year. Part of the rush to dump him is the need for cap space and the idea that JVR is overpaid/would be hard to unload at 7mil.

Injuries and inconsistency. I think he's a change of scenery and flourish candidate, but the Flyers can't afford to just keep wasting cap on him at this point. It'll hurt when becomes a 40 point player, but its time for a change. I'd hope we could get more, but not likely at this point.

Oilers get a good powerplay player, but he's awful defensively. You'll see lots of starfishing after getting caught out of position and don't forget failed clears.
