Description

Saw a report that Carolina, Dallas and Nashville could be interested in DeBrusk. I think trading him for futures is really dumb. How about a swap of Fleury and DeBrusk? Carolina needs scoring and Boston needs help on the Left side. Both guys are about the same age, and both would help the respective teams.
Carolina has Slavin, Skjei and Gardiner locked up through 22/23. Carolina could add scoring here for a guy who probably won't be above the third pairing unless injuries happen.

Severely undervaluing DeBrusk. If that's all it takes I'd love to add a player like him on the Leafs

Fleury isn't bad but this is not enough for DeBrusk.

Bruins need scoring but they're trading DeBrusk, kind of contradictory. If you get a better LW to replace him (and another winger), then trade him for an LD, otherwise go for the RW.

And fyi, B's need more scoring than help at defense

Bruins need secondary scoring at 5v5....DeBrusk ranks 3rd among Bruins over the laat 3yr in 5v5 scoring aka this deal does the opposite of what Boston needs to add. They also have a lot of LHD
