All those teams should be mocked for doing those deals. Murray isn’t worth half of those.

Murray and Johnson aren't returning a late 1st. Colorado doesn't want or need Murray with Grubs and Franc. And Edmonton is looking at OEL and Kuemper.

I wouldn't want Bear in return. A year ago, he was a relatively forget prospect that people didn't think much of. He made the team and played a lot of minutes on a team that was very weak at the position. The actual underlying numbers weren't great but he got a ton of attention because he was in a Canadian market.

Would rather have a second round pick or something.

The ones that result in a goalie going back don't make a ton of sense for Pittsburgh. They have a backup.

In the first 3 deals you have the return to be around a bottom 6 player or B prospect plus a goalie substitute for Murray by himself. ... but then you expect Ottawa to give up a 1st in a deep draft for also taking on Johnson's contract? Murray isn't worth a 1st by himself and certainly not when you're adding an anchor of a contract like Johnson to the deal.
